March 19th Devotion – What’s realistic?
Our devotion today talked about matching our blueprint to our life, and asked the question “Is our blueprint realistic?”
We finished the video by Tony Robbins (from 19:30 into it on) and discussed it. What is your “Blueprint” fro your life? How do you see it, and does your current life state match up to that? If not, what can you do to make it match or, should you change your blueprint? Is your blueprint Realistic? What is the cost to reach that “Ideal life”?
Our bible verse was John 17:19-21
19 And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.
20 “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. 21 I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.
We read a short excerpt from John Maxwell “How successful people think” p 42 – If you don’t get close enough to a problem, you can never tackle it If you dont take a realistic view of your dream and what it takes to accomplish it, you will never achieve it. Realistic thinking helps bring dreams to fruition.
We also commented that Jesus said that We would do even greater things than He did!
So, our prayer is that our dreams would come to fruition and become real to us as we desire to change the world and help others. Help us to count the cost and be willing to make the sacrifices necessary to bring those goals to fruition!
Thanks to all who participated! God bless and have a GREAT day!!!!
